    Jags waive LB Clint session

    Vito Stellino ‏@vitostellino

Jags waived Clint Session off PUP..never recovered from concussions suffered last year
Dude had 2 concussions in 1 game and hasnt been the same since. i dont think he will play an nfl game again. shame that he had the double concussion game or we would have a top lb corps.

Man it sure is sad to see him go. I was really hoping he was going to be able to come back. This really sucks.
Nothing to see here, move along.

It sucked for us and him with those concusions. Thats one player we didnt need on this roster though thats gone because he didnt play. His contract and Mike Thomas combined we can get a top free agent. Maybe an olineman or a DT. I wonder if all these moves that has been made of late if they are Genes? It dont seem like it.

Now we just need to cut a few more of these guys thats making big money that isnt doing ****.

    Contracts and players to cut

    1. Tyson Alualu 2013-$6,070,000 cap hit 2014-$6,619,000 cap hit
    2. Aaron Ross 2013-$4,033,333 cap hit 2014-$4,033,333 cap hit
    3. Guy Whimper 2013-$2,050,000 cap hit
    4. Jereny Mincey 2013-$3,550,000 cap hit 2014-$6,500,000 cap hit 2015-$6,925,000 cap hit

We can maybe wait on Mincey till next year since he makes almost double in 2014. But since we have Babin I would go ahead and cut him now because I believe Babin is better and Babin makes less. The first 3 though need to be cut without a doubt.

If we cut those first 3 players thats over 12 mill we are saving on the books and the arrow will be pointing up for us. After that all we need to do is bring in a new GM along with his coaches that can make good draft picks and some good free agent moves.

i would keep mincey and use him at DT where hes pretty damn effective rushing the passer. get mincey to put on 20-25 pounds and use him at tysons spot after we get clowney.

    Defensive line of Clowney-Mincey-?????-Branch.

looks really good pass rush wise

    Jacksonville Jaguars ‏@jaguars

Jaguars sign Will Ta'ufo'ou to active roster. WR Isaiah Stanback and OT Andrew Mitchell were signed to practice squad.

Its really too bad about him. I was so excited about the Session-Poz-Smith LB Corps. Also, we've had SUCH BAD LUCK with our defensive FAs: Ross- blows Session-concussions Kampman- ACL
