You're criticized because of people like the OP and others who fall in line behind anything with total belief with whatever is out there. Gabbert is starting? Okay Gabbert will one day be the best QB in the league. Gabbert is out? Henne's in. Okay. He's great, franchise QB I think.
MJD, best running back in the NFL. He gets hurt, I heard that backup who's name eludes me was JUST AS GOOD. It's never ending.
It's fine to be hopeful and believe in your team. I'm not asking you to be "doom and gloom" just to be realistic and honest and attempt some objectivity.
