He's a power hitter and thats a piece this team needs. I'm all in.
.320 OBP along w/ .460+ SLG, I take it.

.320 obp isn't good, it's slightly below average.

And a .429 SLG for someone that biggest tool is power isn't good either.

At least there will always be a steady breeze blowing out of Citi with the fan power. What the major league record for strikeouts?

He'll be better than anything Jason Bay provided but honestly... Mets need a SERIOUS big time bat in the outfield. Reynolds is not the answer but a poor option.

Tsssss. No.
No.
No.
But since he's affordable....
He has 35 home run pop, and the Mets need pop.
The problem is dealing with his possible defense in LF and a ton of strikeouts.
He's the ultimate feast or famine type hitter.
Maybe they're looking to sign him cause Duda will be involved in a deal with Dickey. Idk just a thought. He is a guarantee to hit at least 20 HR though. And like YoungStuna said, he might be decent enough out in LF. I would take him for a year and then spend big on one or two of the OFers next offseason
