Sources: #Indians’ offer to Victorino was 4 yrs, $44 million. Evidence of their flexibility. Victorino got $2M per yr more from #RedSox.

Indians offered 4/44 per Rosenthall
yeah Melky didn't just juicing in 2012. he juiced in 2012, 2011, 2009, 2008 too? all of his good years. the bad years, yeah that's Melky.
just because I post a lot, does not mean it is disruptive
And anyways, I think people need to understand that we're trying to stay competitive by fielding a team of good veterans. They're loading the team with short term guys. A signing like Victorino or Napoli might not make us the favorite in the East, but were competitive and it's flexible because we're not tied to any of these players for 4, 5, 6 or more years like we were with Gonzalez and Crawfors - and like the Yankees are with A-rod.
This team is buying time so we can integrate the kids - Bradley, Xander, Brentz, and the pitching. I'm fine with that.
Napoli for 13M
Victorino for 13M
Paying 3 guys over the age of 30 a total of 38M annually for 3 years is horrible. One is 37 and coming of major injury. The other 2 are coming of mediocre to down years.
Their rotation has Hughes, Pineda, Nova still going forward. Not to mention their farm isn't crap either. Nothing is hilarious about them because they'll still find a way to be in contention no matter what.
How dare we pay the best DH in all of baseball that type of money on a 2 year deal, silly Red Sox.
