It's just ******.com linking espn's Dave McMenamin

    Here's the quote from Mitch.

Gasol is sitting not because a trade involving the former four-time All-Star is in the works, according to multiple league sources. However, a source told ESPNLosAngeles.com that Lakers general manager Mitch Kupchak has recently spoken to Gasol's representatives and the gist of the conversation was that if Gasol is unable to adjust to D'Antoni's system, the team will have no choice but to search for possible trade scenarios. "But a source said that Mitch Kupchak recently spoke with Gasol's representatives that the Lakers would explore trade possibilities if he cannot adjust to Mike D'Antoni's system."

This can be taken out of context or not....but definitely a reality check for Pau

you know you've made a coaching mistake when multi-ring, perennial all-stars are being traded for the sake of the new coaches offense.

if you can find the right pieces, great. but if LA doesn't win and we trade him for trash who 'fit better' this experiment will go down as a failure.

I trust Mitch, he's always raped other teams in trades. No way he trades Gasol for trash.

Pau Gasol is by far the most overrated player in the league right now

Don't trust anything that doesn't come out of Mitch, Jim or Dr. Buss' mouths. Those are my real sources. And maybe Woj.

everyone else can go suck a big fat one.

d'antoni hiring was the culprit. It's only a matter of time now before Kobe lashes out, season falls apart, Dwight signs somewhere else and Jimbaco has to answer to TWC because they want a refund...a couple of billion worth.
