Percy Harvin - WR - Vikings

Vikings placed WR Percy Harvin on injured reserve with an ankle injury, ending his season.
As beat writer Tom Pelissero opined on Twitter, that escalated quickly. Coach Leslie Frazier admitted Wednesday that Harvin may not play again this season, but it stood to reason the Vikings would give their second best player another week or two to heal up. The fact that they haven't is a strong indication he needs surgery after tearing a ligament in his left ankle in Week 9. The news leaves the Vikings embarrassingly thin at receiver, and coupled with Christian Ponder's frequently dismal performances, will place a massive load on the shoulders of Adrian Peterson as they fight to remain in the NFC Wild Card picture. This is the first time in Harvin's four-year career he's been placed on injured reserve. He had missed just three total games coming into 2012. Entering the final year of his rookie deal in 2013, Harvin's contract figures to be a point of emphasis for the Vikings in the offseason. Harvin is still only 24 years old.

They weren't making it into the post season regardless.

If Percy doesn't play, with the supporting cast we have, we aren't going to win many more games this year...It's sad because AP will probably go for 200 every week and we'll still lose

I know we have no wide-outs whatsoever, but i'm starting to get a little fed up with Ponder's shittyness

Ouch..I thought this would happen when AP was out, wearing his *** out being the only playmaker by far.
Sorry to be that guy..who has to bring up fantasy..but from a value perspective and where he was typically drafted..he had to be like the most valuable guy...so consistent too...and out of my 7 leagues I didn't draft him once ><
