Pretty sure Youk is coming here. As far as we know, the Indians and Yankees were the only ones to offer him a contract. Seeing as how Reynolds is about to sign with the Indians, we win

Reports came out that the M's and Dodgers were in on him, but Heyman says the Dodgers were never in.

I wouldn't have minded signing Reynolds to the 1 year / 6M deal he signed with the Indians. The guy can mash and that's a good value deal.

The whole potential Youk to the Yankees situation reminds me of the Wade Boggs to the Yankees, years ago. That worked out alright for us. I don't mind this for one year.

Seriously, that deal is a steal compared to double for Youk! There is no way that Youk will have twice the production of Reynolds. I wanted Reynolds here...

Youk is not signing today, he is watching the Patriots game at The stadium, he would get harassed by the fans if he signed with Yanks today, we should know one way or another on Tuesday,

Would you really want another Granderson in the lineup? Only with Reynolds it would be less HR's, lower avg and about the same K's. Youk brings a little versatility to the line up and defense. Reynolds is a defensive liability, at best. Sure Reynolds is the cheaper of the two but if its a 1 year deal and the Yanks dont have to be under 189m this year then so be it.

I would rather not play a human at 3rd rather than have Reynolds.

I think he is awful.
