Ok not a question if you want Youk or not. Do you think he will take Yankees offer for $12 mil
i dont get the negativity, we are in a transition year, youk would be a nice add to this team for this year. I think people dont seem to grasp reality when the off season came, they all thought justin uptons and josh hamiltons when the yankees have been very clear
189$ is the goal in place, they have to reach it and this is the way they can do it
I like Youkilis. If he signs with us, he could have a bounce back year.
I mightve been more aggressive on AJ though to work within that mindset. Last year was definately a power bump up for him which makes me wonder if he covertly juiced in his walk year to command more money but I still think the risk was minimal and certainly better than Keppinger.
Torn on Youk.
And so, a new era begins.....
I am 50/50. Don't love it or hate it for the Yanks, if he signs...
This doesn't excite me. I would have rather offered this kind of deal to Keppinger.

I hope I am dead wrong about this, but I hate the idea of Youk playing for the Yankees.
Keppinger doesn't even have the track record Youk has. Ppl make Keppinger out to be Chase Headley
The Red Sox did this a few years ago with Adrian Beltre and it worked like a charm.
One-Year deal to a third baseman who could rebuild his value for Free Agency, next season.
Since this is only a one year deal, you can't go wrong with Youkilis.
Yankees vs Red Sox will have yet another reason to be even more intense.
