I don't know if a flat cover 2 defense would be the best use of his skills. I was surprised of his coverage skills. I wouldn't mind him at all in GB but I know that's not going to happen.

Not only is his play solid, he's a flat out leader. He's not playing just for the paycheck at the next level, he's playing to be the best & lead a team.

Add that with the quality person your getting, & it's a safe bet all around. No off the field issues to look for with this young man. Great head on his shoulders, on & off the field.

BTW, he's not a finished product by any means. His hard working attribute could make him even that much better than he already is.

neither of whichw as picked in the top 3. i didnt say the players arent valuebale, i said the postion isn't. you can manufactor a good MLB with a strong DL and pass rush

lweis was picked at the back end of the first round, and he is argueablly the best ever. with the much more skille dpostions available, MLBs jsut dont have the draft value anymore to go top 5. i ddint sya dont take him high, i just said top 3. MLB is a position you cna manufactor with good pieces aorund him, like a running back. they might not be greta, but they will be good enough


speaking to the ravens for an example, look at the OTHER MLBs they had next to lewis. Most were very good in the ravens defense, than leave and do very little. liek ed hartwell, anyone rebemebr him?


I'm also an ND fan, so I love Teo don't get me wrong. picking him that high is simply a mistake in todays NFL

Why is that ? #1 team, #1 defense, #1 defender....100 tackles + , with 7 INT's....

That's a darn solid player & worthy of any trophy out there. Game changer with his play & leadership.

i dont want people to get me wrong, im not saying MLBs are good palyers or anything. just valuewise toa defense, OLB, passer rushers, DBs and DL all bring more overall value to the unit as a whole

Te'o has recorded 8 turnovers, & the next leading tackler is 41 behind him. Nobody gives up fewer points than Notre Dame & Te'o is a huge reason why. Tuitt & Nix are darn good, but everybody knows who the most valuable to that team is.

Kuechly was a better pro prospect if you rate them in the 4-3 and went 9th.

I'm not sure I'd go that far, but I do think they are a big reason why ND is playing the way they are though especially Nix. I've given up on the Broncos getting Te'o, but I would love for Nix to be a Bronco. If he so chooses to come out that is.
