Because if they counted that as an incomplete pass we loose 0 yards. Still, even though he dropped back I think he was in the tackle box so they could have called him for intentional grounding.

I still think that's something you have to teach your young quarterback, that when you are going down inside the tackle box, the last thing you need to do is try to get rid of the ball. It's going to result in a fumble or intentional grounding everytime. I see what you mean though, heat of the moment.

That would be the only possible gameplan I would approve of. At this point, Ponder to me does nothing other than bring us down. I can't remember the last time I saw him make a great play. What a bust.
