the talent is there obviously, what he needs now is maturity and consistency.
I hoped the celtics would take the risk and sign him.
He's obviously better than the likes of Milicic/collins/melo
and arguably better than sullinger/bass/wilcox
A. I am in no way a Nets fan. Frankly i think the team still has a lot to prove and is about as exciting to watch as any other average NBA team.
B. Blatche is an interesting case because he was a recent amnesty player and NOT a player that just received a $44 Million extension after an okay 3 years as a starting PG.
The question was never if Blatche had the skill because he is one of the most skilled bigs in the league. His head was just never into the game. He is/was lazy and too worried about accolades then helping his team win.
best back up center.

You can lol all u want but yes, Nets will be in the playoffs without lopez...We have stars that are still playing mediocre basketball....the difference between sixers and nets is depth, you gonna need your players to play at a highest level just to get in the lower seeds....
Um Sixers are and may be without Bynum for the season (or forever) and will be in the playoffs too. Top 6 team in the East at worst without Bynum and still will beat the Nets in a 7 game series. But hey power to you if you really think the Nets can win without Lopez and D-Will and JJ playing at a low level....

He was out of shape last season he's in a better situation now.
Blah, Blah, Blah
Nets '12-'13 Season: 49-33 (Last Season 22-44)
Ian Eagle on Ludacris: "...'Get Back' and 'Act A Fool' are two of my personal favorites." I love Ian Eagle
