Oh well, let him slap down $60 for The Show and pretend like the rest of us.

    Dodgers?

Dee Gordon, Billingsley, some top specs ?
Great idea. Get rid of one of the best players in baseball. You should take Cashman's job away from him. Get rid of anyone who is really good who may want alot of money some day. Then when we don't get into the playoffs we can honestly say that we suck and it won't be such a big letdown.

    Yanks get Phillips and Latos
    Reds get Cano.

Yanks get a very good 2B and a young stud starter.
Reds get the best 2B in baseball.

The Yankees had the same mentality back in 2007 with A-Rod.

    Seriously? 7 at 25M per?

That would put him under only Alex as far as average salary goes. I would say that would be something he would accept. And something I seriously hope we don't ever offer him.

I don't think you'll ever see a 7-10 yr contract again from us.

why would the reds create a hole in the rotation to slightly upgrade a position they are already fine at?

His overall October (and I dont just mean this October) play has been spotty at best.

    Last year was a fluke.

He's also aloof, unfocused, lazy and unreliable despite his prodigious talent.

    Time to cut bait.

And so, a new era begins.....
