WOW, if you dont play like Posey through the minors you will never be good. He struggled and then caught fire

Isn't Brown already almost 25? Can't really consider him a hot prospect much longer.

I'm not ready to jump ship on Gary Brown, but I've made it a point to temper my expectations. It's not like he's a can't-miss prospect.

MLB- Pagan greater than A-Rod over last 4 seasons

Over the last 4 seasons, Angel Pagan was worth 13.9 Wins Above Replacement. That ranks tied with Shane Victorino for 33rd-best among position players. The player immediately below Pagan and Victorino ... Alex Rodriguez (13.5 WAR)

I'd guess that Pujols is the next biggest threat

On the open market, Arod would sign like 1 year 10 mil deal to reestablish value... Too bad he's already owed 110+ mil for the duration of his contract.

This is all assuming his knees look better at the end of this contract than Huff’s did.
This part of that article made me lol. Good article though.

I actually like the deal, just happy we didn't pay him what Atlanta paid Upton. Like everyone else has said wish it was 3 years, but I can live with 4.

I am not happy with the length of the deal because let's face it, Pagan is only going to get worse in CF. $10 million/year is actually more than I thought he would get. I thought that would be his asking and have to settle for less. It's a deal that's not going to hurt the Giants in the long run barring a major injury to Pagan so that's the good thing. Scutaro best be next and hopefully then a platoon player in LF (or a full-time player but don't see the Giants doing it).
