Great American Baseball Tour: Brewers, Twins, Cubs, White Sox, Cardinals, Royals ,Cleveland and Detroit
Please keep this about Ryan Broyles. The Mayhew discussion can be put in the gamethreads or OTT if you must.
AAT: Miguel Cabrera-BA: .391 Hr: 14 RBI: 55
Broyles is one player and from what I've seen people want to rehash everything Mayhew has done not just the Broyles pick. We have other outlets for arguing whether does a good job or not. This is specifically a report that Broyles is done for the year. You can discuss the impact he had, the outlook, and what to expect when he comes back but don't start up the Mayhew good/bad discussion please, that's not what this is about.
If you want to make a thread asking if Mayhew has done a good job or not and keep that discussion going in that thread please feel free.

Now the guy is going to come back and be an NFL receiver with TWO previously torn ACLs??? Hate to say it...but the road back from this one is only going to be tougher than last time. And now he's going to be sitting with a bunch of cash in the bank account, rather than the hunger trying to lead him into the draft.
I don't see it ending well, myself. I can easily see him becoming another tale of "what coulda been". Just another skid mark on the pair of BVDs that is Mark Mayhew's draft history.
