Dustin Keller has High Ankle Sprain, per source

    https://twitter.com/MMehtaNYDN/statu...23880586346496

More bad news for the Jets offense: TE Dustin Keller has a high ankle sprain, per source. #nyj

    Also from rotoworld:

With only four games left, the rest of Keller's season is in danger. The Jets will turn to Jeff Cumberland as their top tight end moving forward. Cumberland has 21 catches for 233 yards and two touchdowns in the season. Keller has battled through a tumultuous, injury-prone contract year. If his year is over, Keller may have played his final snap in a Jets uniform.

Good riddance. I used to be a Keller fan, but I want a more physical TE that is a better run-blocker and can catch some passes here and there.

Keller has been useless all season even when he has been on the field,Cumberland has been making more plays then him, Its like Keller isn't even in the game,Maybe we draft a tight end in the first round, Keller was a first round pick we drafted him and Revis in the same year i belive,Keller was drafted the year we had 2 first round picks i forget witch year ,TE is becoming and important posistion and you need a stud TE id be all for drafting a TE in the first round if there is one available

I have a feeling wr's/te's will all of the suddon start getting open. Kinda like what we see over in jacksonville.

I think the fact that the wr's know even if they get minimal seperation chances are an on target pass might come there way.

So you're suggesting that a bunch of 1st and 2nd year players figured, "why bother getting open, because Sanchez can't get me the ball anyway"?

Come on dude, that's weak even for you.

No, that's about right for him. He's as blind as he can be, just sees what he wants to see (Beatles).

I think this caps off a less than stellar contract year for Keller making him much more affordable to sign should the Jets choose to. There aren't many 4.4 TE's out there. Good move not to extend him before the season started.

Problem is we already know what we have with them, Cumberland is very inconsistent but when he is on hes just as good as keller. Reuland is a #3 and that is all we can excpect from him...
