Calvin has scored 5 times this year.
Titans - his late TD helped the Lions send the game to OT. Not garbage time.
Vikings - Down by 17 with 2 min left, legit garbage time TD.
Packers - gave the Lions a 3 point lead in the 3rd quarter. Not garbage time.
Texans - gave the Lions a 7 point lead in the 2nd quarter. Not garbage time.
Colts - increased Lions lead from 2 to 10 in 3rd quarter. Not garbage time.
1st - Score was tied when the TD was scored. Legit.
2nd - Up by 17 when the TD was scored. GARBAGE TIME.
3rd - Up by 17. GARBAGE TIME.
4th - Tied. Legit.
5th - Up by 19. GARBAGE TIME.
6th - Up by 25. GARBAGE TIME.
7th - Up by 32. GARBAGE TIME.
8th - Down by 27. GARBAGE TIME.
One of the WR's we are discussing is great in garbage time...and it ain't Calvin!
STILL WAITING FOR YOU TO ADDRESS THIS POINT. Why are you saying Calvin is only good in garbage time even though that isn't the case, but aren't addressing the fact your boy is the ultimate garbage time TD man this year.
I'm not discounting Green at all. He's the only other one who has a legit argument for this thread. He was a top 5 receiver even last year and other than Andre, Fitz, and Calvin, the only other elite receiver in the league.
Megatrons TDs are down but we actually have a two RBs that can sniff the endzone in the redzone for the first time since Cory Schlesinger and he was a FB lol, So i wouldnt put that all on him..
Them other guys are having a great year but i dont see how CJ isnt #1 so far with what he is doing with 3-4 nagging injuries
The term Stat padding is commonly used in sports to describe an action that improves a player's statistics despite being of little benefit to his or her team or its chance of winning. An example would be a football player throwing long passes with an empty backfield on 1st down in the fourth quarter of a game in which his team was already leading by a large margin.
oh god i didnt read this thread before i posted....
LOL dude your delusional... Just stop before you become the next Alphadog or others like him..
