One problem is that of all the bad teams, we have the hardest strength of schedule right now. And the tie breaker goes to the team that had the easiest schedule. Here were the SOS's coming into this week: http://espn.go.com/blog/nflnation/po...th-of-schedule

    1st is really likely.

Chiefs still play the Browns and Raiders they have to win both those games.

But I think we end up with the 2nd

I agree, top 3 sounds just about right and hopefully they can turn that pick into a stud.

I just hope that Giants game, the Giants will have something to play for and don't rest their starters.

We gotta root for the Skins tomorrow night so the Giants keep playing their starters the rest off the way!

Right now we are 5th. Strength of Schedule is first tie breaker. We have the strongest schedule which means we get the worst pick. It's the team that does the worst against the worst teams that gets the best picks.

Was that an intentional rhyme? If so, that's fire son.

We could easily lose out so I'll say at the very least top 3 and possibly slide into that 2nd spot. I really can't imagine us with the 1st overall pick, just a gut feeling.

I'm pretty sure we're 4th. Carolina has a stronger schedule than us.

Ok so yeah here is the order right now plus the SOS of the 3 or worse loss teams(assuming there is no tie tomorrow night):

    1. Kansas City Chiefs (2-10) SOS: .501 (97-95)
    2. Jacksonville Jaguars (2-10) SOS: .552 (106-86)
    3. Oakland Raiders (3-9) SOS: .464 (89-103)
    4. Philadelphia Eagles (3-9) SOS: .510 (98-94)
    5. Carolina Panthers (3-9) SOS: .516 (99-93)

Here is a realistic scenario that could earn us the #1 pick:
    1. Most importantly we lose out
    2. Kansas City beats Cleveland next week (which I think is possible)
    3. Oakland beats Kansas City week 15
    4. Jacksonville wins one of their four remaining games (Jets, Dolphins, and Titans are winnable games for them).
    5. Kansas City's SOS improves enough to be better than ours (this would require NFC East teams struggling vs. Non NFC East teams and AFC West teams winning more games)

These are scenario's you can root for that make the meaningless games at the end of the season a little more exciting. Rooting for crappy teams today was actually pretty fun, although predictably almost all of the ones I wanted to win, lost.

Props to Fly-Eagles-Fly for the Sig
