Rangers are working hard so should Ben and the Red Sox. The Rangers made the playoffs and they could have been satisfied, but they are not. I like that attitude. They are not going after bums but good players like Upton, Grienke, etc. I hope that's the Red Sox attitude too.

I don't want grienke.Hamilton yes but i was just stating the case that the rangers are tying to strengthen their already good team.Furthermore, having Hamilton in this team is going to make us a contender. I don't care what anyone says. You don't add 40 homerun 100 rbi player and it not improve your team.

If the rangers acquire Justin Upton I would imagine that eliminates Josh Hamilton from there plans and we will probaly see plenty of rumors of a Hamilton to Boston. The only thing is I really think Ben wants to hold on to that 2nd round pick.

He only cost $5M more than Iggy to hit over .200

I dont see the point of getting Drew. Honestly id rather give our pitching some help and use Iglesias than have Drew. I'm fairly confident they'll give their respective teams the same value this year roughly.

So you can seriously tell me that you think we are one power hitting outfielder away??? I guess nobody told you he doesnt pitch.

Serious question to everyone that wants the RedSox to go all out on Josh Hamiltion..... When was the last time that we signed a free agent to a long term deal worth top dollars and it worked out for us????

We got to do something big. Im sorry i have already suffered from the Red Sox not going to the playoffs in three seasons. Why rebuild and suffer for another three years more. Im sorry but im not on build with the rebuilding.

It's not our fault that they gave/sign players like cameron, Hermeida, Lugo, Renteria, lackey, crawford just to name a few. It was Theo and the ownerships fault. Don't make us suffer because of your stupid mistakes. I have never been to Fenway but im a die hard Red sox fan and every game their lose gets to me. I don't have the energy and emotion to root for this team and have them suck for three years.

Agreed. Especially when you know that it's a matter of when, not if, Drew gets hurt.
