I counted 39 without Koji, Napoli and Victorino. Looks like you right CL. This is the Link.

A trade is Definitely coming. It wouldn't surprise me if we got Hamilton or Swisher and traded Ellsbury for a pitcher. The only reason Hamilton is not a Red sox, is due to the fact that he is still holding out hope for a six, seven year deal. I hope no one gives it to him even if it means he resigns with the Rangers.

According to ESPN Boston's Gordon Edes, the Red Sox are still interested in free agent Nick Swisher.
The Red Sox have already committed $78 million to Shane Victorino and Mike Napoli but are prepared to spend more. They've even been linked in recent weeks to Josh Hamilton. Swisher, 32, is also drawing interest from the Giants, Yankees, Mariners and Indians. He batted .272/.364/.473 with 24 home runs and 93 RBI in 148 games this past season for New York

At first I didnt want Swisher but now I think he would be an improvement over the two OF's we've signed.

Were letting every Ellsbury/Lester/Buchholz destination make trades filling their needs. Not good.

I would offer swisher a 3 year deal worth 48 million. I rather not go for years for him.

He has been very consistent, and is a good clubhouse guy, and he would fit in with the Walk% type guys

We would obviously have to trade ellsbury
Jackie Bradley Junior.... that is all

I wouldn't mind signing Swish but can we start being linked to some pitchers?

The fact that we have barely heard anything about us and Sanchez makes me think we are definitely in on him, but I could be looking into it too much

Don't see it...as bad as it sounds. It's pretty fitting that Dempster and Lohse are basically the only guys linked to the Sox. RD would already be signed by now had he agreed to that stupid 2/25 offer.
I'll give Sanchez an outside shot if his market collapses and he gets off of his high horse (6/90)

Swisher? Yes, 3/48 makes sense, wouldn't give him more than that. He's already 32 years old. Upton only got 5 years and is several years younger than Nick.
Teams may start getting away from huge deals in terms of years. That's why I never bought into the "Hamilton gets 6-7 years" hype. I bet he settles for 4 around 100m....maybe with option years.
