giants shock the baseball world and sign josh hamilton, which im not a fan of but i have a feeling sabean will do it.

whenever he says he wont somehow he does.

realistically i think we sign scott hairston and a rf during this period.
    also resign scutaro

Thinkin about making some phone calls to the Winter Meetings soon, impersonating a reporter from some no name paper. They usually will play along for a bit

I love the winter meetings. second best time of the year after the trade deadline.

I wish work wasn't so busy so I could actively follow the rumors

Word around here (Nashville) at the #WinterMeetings is that the #Rangers very much in on Hamilton AND Greinke.
I'd **** a brick if we signed both. If I can only have one, Greinke. Still not sold I want Hammy here long term

Hamilton is at the Winter Meetings, report Ken Rosenthal and Jon Paul Morosi of FOX Sports, and Mariners officials met with him Sunday. They go on to write that other teams have met with Hamilton, but the Rangers are "currently working the hardest to sign him." Rangers GM Jon Daniels told reporters today that so far he has no plans to speak with Hamilton or his agent this week at the Meetings. The Brewers are on the periphery for Hamilton, note Rosenthal and Morosi.

If you can't beat him, sign him.

Sources: #Rangers, Hamilton making progress. Deal, if reached, likely would be 4 yrs. But still possible another team could beat TEX offer.

Bay to the Mariners. Beggars can't be choosers but that ballpark for a RH pull hitter? ugh...
