Name a ridiculous stat about your team..

-My stupid/ridiculous stat about the Lions is the fact that through 12 games the running backs have ran the ball on 3rd down a total of 8 friggin times. I don't even see how that's possible quite honestly.

-An interesting one (not about my team though) about the Bears as well is the fact that Brandon Marshall has 42% of the Bears' total receptions this season. That's leading the league BY FAR.

    Any others?

Of the Seahawks 12 games, win or lose, only three have been decided by more than a touchdown. Not all that interesting, but **** it.

Jason Collins claims he is the first openly gay NBA player despite the fact we witnessed the entire league bend the Lakers over all season.

Somehow the Ravens have dodged Ben Roethlisberger seven times since the Steelers drafted him in 2004.

Today was the only time the Steelers have won such a game to boot.
"We're a game-plan offense, and we're going to try to tailor our strengths against their weaknesses."

-Todd Haley, current Steelers offensive coordinator

"We're not going to change what we do regardless of who our opponent is or who's injured."

The only tailback we have with a TD is James Starks and he just got it today.

That's ****ing insane. Our punter has as many TDs as our halfbacks.

It seems completely impossible to not have a rushing TD from any half back on your roster until week 12 and to actually have a winning record.

How many third downs have you had. I want to see the percentage lol

But yeah that seems odd. How do you find stats like that?

i just looked at each rb on the roster individually on espn.com and looked at their splits (and went through todays game and added that, leshoure had 2 runs on 3rd today...so it was actually 6 in 11 games prior to today). splits show their runs on each down.

prior to todays game the lions had 148 3rd downs. so prior to today they ran on 6/148, or 4%. idk, that just sounds ridiculous to me.

That's terrible for the heart. You should probably visit a doctor

For the Pats they've lost 3 games by a total of 4 points. In the second half of the season since 2010, the Pats have forced 58 turnovers and have only turnover-ed the ball 6 times in that time span. Can't think of anything ridiculous in a negative way atm.

Lions are the first team since 1983 to lose 3 straight home games when leading with 2 minutes left in the game.

You're the ultimate football stathead for PSD. The NBA forum has Chronz, the NFL forum has you.

But yeah, that's pretty ridiculous. I wouldn't surprised if Green Bay's was similar to Detroit's. I feel like GB runs even less.
