If it s a one year deal he gets the Mets won't outbid the Yankees for him.

Seems like where he might end up.

Not to mention he is another LH bat, the Mets are looking for a RH compliment at the position.

Hopefully one that would start over Thole.

I've mentioned AJ before, so what if he's left handed. Like what Thole did last year even helped? If Thole doesn't improve, AJ can have his job and we can find another right handed complement. Josh gave us NO OFFENSE in 2012.

The problem is they won't bring in two catchers...

So it looks like they will look for a RH starter and let Thole backup.
