While I don't think that stuff the ND players got away with is right, you guys are really naive to think stuff like that doesn't happen on other campuses. College athletes can get away with just about anything other than murder these days...it's kind of a joke.

Doesn't change the fact that ND is one of the most blatant areas as far as getting away with stuff like that. They're treated like Gods there, and as a result I find it hardly surprising that this kind of stuff happens.

Agreed but nd always puts it out there that they're catholic held to a Higher standard etc

Also, just like to point out that I knew this long before this article was published given that one of the girls went to my HS. Then there was also that video cameraman incident.

We had more cases than that at my high school. Not defending any of that, but it wouldn't be a story if she didn't commit suicide.

I don't know about most blatant...maybe most publicized because of who they are. If this kind of thing happened at a small, unknown college with terrible athletics, it'd never be a national story.
