I sure hope Axel starts banging Carol. The sooner the whole Daryl/Carol angle goes away the better...for everyone.

Some other thoughts:

I dont think theres any way Hershel makes it to the end of the season. They're really taking an emphasis off his character. I thought he was gonna be the new Dale but it really doesn't look like that's the way they're going with him at all.

I didn't catch the part of the preview where it shows Daryl and not Merle but you could tell (or atleast for me, it was pretty apparent) from the way they ended this episode that Daryl wasnt gonna be killed off. If the Governor really wanted to send a message to Merle he would've murdered Daryl infront of him right then and there. And they did it in a way, with all the townspeople calling for their heads, that it might be that's how the next episode opens, but the whole scene with Michonne talking about how Rick needs her in order to go back for Daryl - that was evidence enough to me that he was going to make it. I'd actually imagine Merle survives too, atleast long enough to make it out of the position theyre in now, because they wouldn't spend so much time building up this whole Merle/Daryl exchange only to never give them an opportunity to really have any mutual experience together.

I think the Michonne/Governor scene, all of it, was the single best scene they've done in the series. The only way it could've been better is if Michonne killed him, but that would deprive us of the inevitable Governor/Rick showdown that looms somewhere down the line.

Also at how they just keep recycling black guys.

Lame...

Either kill the brothers or don't. I thought it would have been amazing if he murdered them both, sealing his transition to ultimate crazy man. They ended it right before the decision... tells me they both live. Otherwise they missed out on a great moment of drama at the end.

Other than that it was awesome.

someone else said get one of the guvs guys in the prison but they already know where it is so seems kinda pointless.

The Governor was talking to Merle about getting Daryl to join them and sneak people in to the prison earlier in the episode (at which point they already knew where it was), so it is actually a good point, though...

Andrea just suuuuuuuuuuuucks btw. Her character is infuriating.

I don't think Darryl is home free just yet. They didn't kill a major character so close to Lori's death, but it's due. Tyrese is already setting up to replace him. I thought the whole "we take care of our own" line he dropped was a major hint that he's going to be Black Rick (until hey dies because he's black - but it will be after his black girlfriend).
