Imagine End of July Yanks are 10 games under .500 and tied for last place... IMAGINE how many open seats at that stadium.

Picture it, 92 degree afternoon game, vs the royals or mariners...... I will bet 18,000 fans max will show... Now do that for 1/2 a year and all this magical money yankees are "saving" will equal if they said **** the $189, and signed Hamilton, and traded for some studs.

Haha I listed righties twice on my post anyways... He hits .266 career against righties and .284 against lefties. I would have hoped for better :/ perhaps YS would give him some Granderson-type results, where he can hit more homers, obviously not 40+ though hahaha

People say money can't buy championships. I will bet if we sign Josh, retain Curtis for long term, retain Cano for long term, and bring in Cliff Lee - because andy will be done after this year and so will Kuroda.

THAT has a chance at winning a championship. I don't see us even contending for the playoffs the next 2-3 years.

I heard Cory hart is being shopped. Only has 1 year left at 10 million. Could be a goo pickup.

This offseason sucks so far, evn the middling targets are bombing out and not getting offers.

IF that happens then that is pretty sad. I'd hope the Yankees have done enough the past half century or so to build a solid fanbase that will support and go to games through thick and then and not bail out due to a bad year. Anybody who abandons like that isn't a fan.

I may be pissed at their win loss record or anything else but I'll never stop rooting them on and hoping they win in the regular season.
