    Time to Make Moves

If the Dodgers Do Not Sign Greinkie...
IF the Yanks Traded CC, Arod, Bentences to them for Eithier and Dee Gordon
(Realize the No trade Clause But that Can be worked out)

    Trade Granderson for Prospects

Then trade Multiple Prospects (top 6) for Giancarlo Stanton and Nolasco in a salary move for Marlins

    Sign Shawn Marcum (2/22)
    Sign Brian Wilson(1/4)
Resign Cano 7 Years 170 Mil

This alows for A Salary Savings this season, Youth in the fold for the future; and A ton of Financial Flexibility for next season and the future

Scott Miller of CBSSports.com reports that the Padres and Chase Headley had "very rough" talks about an extension earlier this year.

Headley's name came up in trade speculation immediately following the news of Alex Rodriguez's hip surgery, but the Padres remain interested in locking him up for the long-term. However, since he's under contract for two more seasons, an extension will likely take a back seat while Padres general manager Josh Byrnes addresses more pressing matters. It's possible talks could pick back up in the spring.
That would be fantastic if they could work out a deal for Headley. Pretty unlikely at this point given how high his value is at the moment, but still would be great.

Why all the love to Haren? The Yanks got Kuroda and Andy back. Rotation is set.

Haren on a one year deal only makes the rotation even more elite. Dan Haren as a #3 or #4 starter is crazy good.

Man I didn't think Haren would go for a 1 year deal. Would have loved him in the rotation.
