    Double checked, Yanks were talking deal with the Rockies last year on Chris Nelson, he is currently a free agent and made 480,000 last year.

    Would love Dee Gordon, but what would it take?
    I don't think we'll be making any major moves-- getting any big name players. If there's a blockbuster move it will be us dealing away somebody. And right now the only guys we could trade areTeixeira and/or Hughes ---Jeter,ARod-hurt/Gardner and Mariano are coming off injury/ we have no legit RF, DH or C. There's no way we move Cano,CC,Robertson or Granderson. Who's gonna really want Rapada,Eppley,Aardsma,Joba, etc..
    We are stuck signing low end, low price guys to fill the roster.

    it would take one of the Yankees young arms i am guessing. Not top pitching prospects but 2nd tier to get him

    I'm sorry, but why show interest in Cody f'n Ross and not Swisher if they are both in line for multi year deals?

    Swisher will be more expensive. I vastly prefer Swish. But Ross isn't a horrible alternative depending on the cost of each.

    I agree he isn't a bad option, however, how many years do you think Ross is looking for??? 3, 4 or more? At that rate, stick with the man you know is great part of the team. Right?
