At least we can take comfort in the fact that this isn't happening just to save money! Its happening because it makes the Yankees better and smart...somehow.
Call me a moron, but I dont see how this makes the Yankees better this year or next year. Randy Levine is a tool

I meant Scott Hairston. Guy who helped us win in '09.

I agree we probably won't sign hamilton but he's good.

Also, I read somewhere the Yanks were interested in Stanton. Would you still be complaining when we get him?

    That was Jerry Hairston!!!

Great. Hamilton's good, but we won't sign him. That does us a ton of good.

Who do you propose we trade for Stanton? Why would the Marlins trade a salary controlled, young superstar?

Keep smoking the good stuff, dude.

Yeah and SCOTT Hairston's even better!

As for Stanton. I don't really know what they're looking for but if they wanna deal we can deal. Slade Heathcott was just named the best player in his fall league and Mason Williams is even better and how about Gary Sanchez?

    That's what I'm smoking

And the guhuxagogan is framed up by the ramastam...

Your posts make about as much sense.

You're on Pluto if you think the Marlins are going to take our bag of 'nice' low-ball prospects for one of the best young hitters in the game.

You need to quit smoking. Stanton. Isnt. Going. Anywhere. If by some miracle the Marlins would trade him, we dont have enough to get him. There's other teams would could off much more than us. So I repeat.

    STANTON. ISNT. GOING. ANYWHERE.

I know it's not intentional but when you talk like that I get the impression you don't respect what I have to say.

And I hardly think Heathcott, Williamson and Sanchez are "lowball." Also, we can throw Swisher or Grandy or someone "proven." I'm just throwing out ideas
