    Why didn't the Yankees try to sign Dan Haren for 1 year and then trade Hughes or Nova for some infield help?

    Haren signed for just $13 million and 1 year. So that is now Martin and Haren to other teams and the Yanks do not make an attempt....

    Hopefully Youkilis comes to NY...Of course the price has to be right..But Hal will order Brian to sign a 42 yr old player out of the mexican league...
