True but every deal signed this offseason will likely be overrated/overvalued. I'd rather sign him though to a big deal than a guy like Hamilton.

CBS Sports' Jon Heyman confirms that the Red Sox will field offers for catcher Jarrod Saltalamacchia.

The Red Sox signed Mike Napoli to a three-year, $39 million contract on Monday, and also have David Ross and Ryan Lavarnway in the fold. Which makes "Salty" an expendable commodity. FOX Sports' Jon Morosi wrote in early November that the Cubs might have interest.

not true at all... morosi said he fits with the yanks but that means nothing. nick swisher, ichiro suzuki, and mike napoli fit with the yanks too but it doesn't mean we're gonna get them...
