If they can attract a big bat for Hellickson, they can really be a force in 13.

They are stuck now with the spending mode...They have to compete with the Dodgers. And Artie is not Hal.....he will open up the checkbook himself.

Yes, it's amazing that the league allows the Dodgers and Texas to spend so much on a credit line. No real money.

Agreed. If we are going scrap heap......he's a no brainer flyer.

Maybe take a look at Pelfrey, Wang and Jurrgens. If one of them stick, we can look to trade Hughes.

I don't think yanks will wanna pay him 5/75 after this season.

Actually I do not mind the dumpster diving from Cashman....I just wish we could get rid of all of the big contracts and start over....bored of this team that is currently constructed, the long term deals....somehow, someway, try to move ARod, CC and Teix, then trade Cano and Granderson, let's get the payroll down to $35 million and start over with youth.....we have been spoiled with missing just 1 postseason since 1995 and maybe a few terrible years will restock the farm with position players from the drafts....but to just have a certain limit on spending is not a plan.....Please do it the right way Hal! Start over or sell the damn team! Or start spending again you cheap ***!
