It would be kinda interesting to pick the players who your team would save if there was a expansion draft today.

Some of the stacked teams would have some hard decisions to make
One of the most overused sayings on this forum

"and its not even close" When in reality it is quite close.

Fun facts that I just found out for the first time:
The Miami Heat agreed not to select Kareem Abdul-Jabbar from the Los Angeles Lakers in exchange for a 1992 second-round pick.

The Miami Heat agreed not to select Dennis Johnson from the Boston Celtics in exchange for a 1988 second-round pick.
    Don't let justinum1 see this.

The Dallas Mavericks wanted to make sure that their players Uwe Blab, Steve Alford or Bill Wennington, who were left unprotected, would not be selected, so they offered the Miami Heat the rights to Arvid Kramer and their first choice (No. 20) in the college draft (which later would turn out to become Kevin Edwards).[4] He never played for the Heat.

    From Wiki

This then leads to the even more puzzling question: Why did Dallas care if somebody picked Uwe Blab, Steve Alford or Bill Wennington? I mean, giving up a first round pick to protect those guys? lol

When I first read the title to the thread I thought it was definitely going to be a stupid thread, but I actually learned something! Did not know this.
