3 teams looking to meet with Mets on Dickey-Rubin post #918

    Andy Martino ‏@MartinoNYDN

2 important bits of new info, per sources 1. Texas believes it is out on Dickey. 2. Any reports Dickey won't do extension w TOR are false

If texas is in deed out then Sandy must really like what Toronto's is offering unless there is another team that we do not know about. Surprised that the Angels are not in on Dickey now

If Texas is offering Olt and Buckel, what are the blue Jays offering cuz it still says even with the Texas offer, TOR is in the lead...... Thoughts?

That's not what it says though....

The Rangers aren't involved anymore, Rosenthal reports (on Twitter). Texas didn't offer Olt and Buckel for Dickey, according to Rosenthal.

I think the Angels might just keep both Trumbo and Bourjos and look to unload Wells somewhere. They need Trumbo's offense in left and Bourjos' defense late in games when the score is close. Wells will be the odd man out but the Angels pretty much have to pay a considerable portion to unload him in a trade.

I know they didn't offer it, but its possible they indicated that was the furthest they would go. The early report from Martino did say Texas indicated theyd do it, not that they actually offered it. Just a guess

I'd be shocked to see the Jays deal TDA for Dickey, but I can understand why you guys would absolutely hopeing he is in the deal.
