I don't think that olt/profar/perez trade is likely, the rangers seem to be unwilling to trade profar and the rays already have a 3rd basemen.

I don't recall ever saying below average.

He is basically league average right now, and will be above league average next year most likely (as he is still getting better at the position)

lol to all of this. The only thing you seem to have right is that the Rays dont have to trade him right now and I acknowledged that. He will get more and more expensive though once his arbitration really kicks in. Whatever though, it all might be moot if he doesn't get traded anyway this offseason. Your still crazy to think the Dodgers would need to pick up 80 million in salary in that deal or that a right fielder cant be converted into a center fielder for that matter. Its much easier than converting infielders not impossible. They have an open in the outfield, and Lee, Pederson, and Gordon are young and talented prospects so I dont see how you can claim its a worthless trade proposal.

No, you cant just simply move Ethier into CF, he is no CF. Doesnt matter which is easier (converting IF or OF), you dont go from 1B or 3B to SS either. I never saw the specific proposal in question, but unless Kershaw is a name you forgot to mention, there is no way Lee, Pederson, Gordon and Ethier would get any real interest from the Rays in a Price deal, especially 3 seasons away from FA. That is, of course, just my opinion.

Hit and miss.


They have some awesome one's, like catcher framing stats. Those are pretty sound. But I personally think too many catching stats are too variable based on the opponent running game, and that's not always in the catchers control.

They are 'closeish' but they are not perfect.
