    Homecourt dominance

The Knicks are 7-0 at the Garden... thats Legit...

    however... Even more remarkable...

The Knicks are 18-1 at the Garden under Mike Woodson....

We keep protecting home, there's no way we don't crack 50+ wins this year, and have a very realistic opportunity at the #1 seed.

I think that one loss was against Miami last season. It was a close game that we lost without Stat and Lin. Melo got tired in the end.

This is huge and tells you a lot about Woodson and also something about his predecessor. We have a mental toughness under Woody. And, oh yeah, we play defense. I am so happy this guy is our coach.

Good, we need to be hard at home in the playoffs this will be big if we can steal a game away.

read this on ESPN, we are now 30-10 under woody 18-1 at home Under Woody but also means that we are only 12-9 under him on the road... that must improve. I expect us to win 55+ this year and truly think that number will be more like 60. Homecourt dominance is huge, something we never had under Dantoni.

Lets see we win 3 out of every 4 overall, that's pretty damn good, you can't expect much better than that. Then we win 4/7 on the road, that's better than .500. I don't think we'll be this good this year, but that puts us well over 50 wins.

We've played tough and under rated teams on the road. Those tough teams eventually have to come to the Garden too. Memphis, Houston, BK, all of them have to experience our homecourt too.

Our only loss Melo drops 42 on the Heat and held lebron in check.

This guy landry shoots 2-8 and all wide open looks because of melo and Wade drops 28 on him grabbing 9 boards and 4 assists.

JR shoots 6-15 and Knicks lose 93-85, with to repead Melo getting half the points, he was incredible, but that was the game I wanted landry to get the heck off the team, and I got my wish lol........

Also let me explain the reason why Woody wants home court dominance:

Heat got the ring last yr right?

    Heat at home- 28-5
    Heat on road- 18-15

Lakers last yr were 15-18 on the road.

And hence the importance of where you finish in the standings, you want home court advantage for as long as you can get it.

To be successful, we need to protect home court and we have been doing an excellence job of that.

That one loss reminded me of an interesting STAT this yr:

    PER:

    321 players ranked-

    Landry ranked 318 with a 1.35 PER
Jeffries ranked 321 with a -.05 PER Ouch!

Average league PER is 15.............think about it!

Knicks have 7 players above 15, can't remember the last time we could say that, and with Iman and amare that could easily be 9.

Interesting stat of the day lol
