Yanks should go after Brian Wilson.

I know it is a gamble but if he is healthy he will be worth it. I love Mariano as much as anyone but he is coming off a serious injury and he is getting up in age.
Brian Wilson could be a very good addition.

If he is willing to take a 1-year deal to get his value back up, then sure! This is the year of 1-year deals.

    If not, no.

We can miss out on too many good players if we don't waver at all on this one year deal idea. They have to be flexible. Players are looking for security for themselves and their families.

I think the Yankees have made it pretty clear that players looking for multiple years should look elsewhere.

Wilson is coming off a major injury himself. He blew out his elbow last April. No thanks. Plus I'd hate to see him without his sexy beard.

The only reason I would like to see the Yanks sign him is that we would not have to hear or see anything dealing with that God Awefull beard of his.

    Still, to ecentric for NY.

As a fellow beard wearer, I would hate for Wilson to have to shave one of the more epic beards in the MLB.
