Combined 200 million dollar backcourt ??

    Deron Williams 100+ mill
    Joe Johnson 100+ mill

They both shoot a combined 8 for 25 against the Miami Heat. And lose for 2nd time in Miami (albeit by 13 instead of 30). Is it fair to say that this is the most overpaid backcourt in the NBA? Thoughts anyone ?

Joe Johnson is definitely not playing up to his standards (which is nowhere near what his contract is worth) but there is no reason why he shouldn't be posting up more, which is a main aspect of his game.

    10 mil? I wouldn't pay more than 5-6.

Not a Brooklyn fan at all, but you guys need to give them time...the money is irrelevant, change HAD to happen for the Nets and they took a step in the right direction. All they did tonight was lose to a better team, the moves they made in the off season may have not been the most "popular" with some of you, but it instantly made them into the 2nd or 3rd best team in the Eastern conference, and that is saying a lot! since every team after them suck very bad.

JJ has a PER this season of 13, and thats with playing next to a top 5 PG...

some players who have a higher PER than JJ this year; derozan, korver, hayward, reddick, wes. those guys together dont make as much as JJ. lol

deron is not overpaid. eventhough he didnt have a good shooting night he was carving up the heats defence and get his teammates easy baskets.

1 game prior Joe Johnson had 22pts and 5 assists on 50% shooting vs Aaron Afflalo, one of the best perimeter defenders in the game. What a scrub
