I hear plenty of people saying that album was pretty good, but the one video I saw from it was embarrassingly bad. Left me with no desire to check out the rest.

Apollo Brown love! YES!
Trophies is my second favorite album of the year as well. Apollo Brown forever underrated. I'm such a stan of his. I even spent hours at work a few weeks back making a wikiepedia page for him (still in limbo).
Good lists. I'm gonna try to make mine tomorrow.
Bronson love too![]()
T.I.'s album will be likely leaking this week so I'll make mine, too.
I don't expect much from it, but the cover is dope!
For me, Apollo Brown is mad overrated. He sticks to what he knows, which is fine, but dear lord it's so boring after 3 songs.

i can see where you're coming from. apollo's style is very traditional. but he is the master of the chop. pretty much anyone who makes sample-based hip hop wishes they could do it like apollo is doing it right now.
i think my favorite feature of the year was Gucci on "Telephuck"
People know who Apollo Brown is.
I'm not really a big fan of HBK Gang, but I've been feeling iamsu! Kilt mixtape/album.
He definitely enhances the "based" genre of music, and his featured productions don't disappoint. He really needs to lose the "Suzie" thing though.
Well, to be honest, I haven't listened to too many new albums in full this year, so I'm just going to go off of what I've heard that I've really enjoyed. There could certainly be better out there. Also, although I like some rap, I haven't really listened to anything new in a while, so it's missing in my list completely.
