    You can point to a few examples of guys who didn't lose there speed, but I guarantee you there are a lot more examples of people who did. And one major thing is simply injury risk. It's very easy to encounter a nagging knee, ankle, hamstring, etc, injury and never regain speed again. You usually don't see that with power.

    Actually I believe most of the research says that players like him don't age any worse than other more balanced guys.

    If we are comparing Sori and Bourn's bodies as far as aging goes. I mean didn't Sori have a pretty good season at age 36? If Bourn is somewhat close but still shorter than Sori, wouldn't sori be used as evidence as a guy who DOES age gracefully? I'm not too sure but it sounded as if people were using sori's height comparison as a negative against bourn.

    Sori has retained value by still being able to mash home runs. His legs fell off basically the day after we signed him.
