Way too early to determine Flowers is a back-up catcher. He's never gotten the chance to play everyday. He hits absolute bombs though, I would love to bring him in somehow.

When did I ever say I would want Flores over Ike.

I'm perfectly fine taking a chance on him in Vegas. If he sucks, he sucks. History and stats say keep Flores. He's a prospect. He has the same chance as succeeding/failing as whoever we are presumably trading him for. And considering we want young players back with not the longest track records, basically yes, I don't care if the only opportunity to trade him is lost.

Because 1B is his only logical position to play with Wright locked up forever.

He doesn't fit on this team, and he can't play 2B. Murphy is a better athlete than Flores and he's still below average at the position.

This. I'd deal Flores before he turns into the next flop-Mart, which let's face it is far more likely than him turning into the next Manny Ramirez.

We need a good OF'er far more than we need a prospect without a home and a reliever, I'd rather keep Familia than Meija.

I have always rated the big four 1. Wheeler. 2. Harvey. 3. Familia. 4. Meija.

Yeah, it would be the right move for this team imo.

I always thought that Mejia had a better chance to start than Familia, but after watching him this year, I'm not so sure. Both are probably pen arms now.

Yeah I probably wouldn't either straight up, but if we added another prospect like Rafael Montero and they added someone like Trayce Thompson I'd do it.
