Who has been more disappoiting so far, Wade or Pierce?

Pierce is still playing well, he's posting a TS above 55% which is still fairly good. Wade hasn't been disappointing to me because I knew his decline was near, I just didn't know when it was going to happen.

I have to say Pierce and the reason why is Bron and Bosh have been playing good while Miami has 11-3 record. At this point Wades performance is not hurting the team.

Because the caveman stats were of the team variety and conflicted with the more accurate barometer. There is no room for argument there.

What exactly do you think advanced stats would change about his argument? Or are you just making another lazy argument for the sake of your vendetta ?


If I were you I would be more interested in his use of selective analysis (regarding which games to look at).

You can use per game stats, cause "Advanced" lines are really just per game game stats that are weighed properly. I pick at per game stats when they are misleading. It's like someone claiming that Rondo is more efficient than Billups because Rondo has a higher FG%, yet Billups obliterates Rondo in TS%, Ortg, etc.

Dude say what you want about Heat fans, but they know Wade's been **** so far. The problem is, I don't even think it's about health. He looked fine physically last night. His problem is lack of improvement on his jump shot and lackadasical, "I don't care, I got 2 rings" attitude that seems to give off at times ala the last couple of games. That upsets me more than anything.

I think it's a motivational thing, but I guess I'd rather have that be the issue than some random injury concern we aren't being let on about. All reports tell me is that his knees are fine now.

Local reports stated his foot okay too, unless it's just the typical media trying to downplay it. We'll see I guess. All I know is Wade needs to be better than he has been.
