Phenomenal athlete. Could be HOF worthy. It will be close.
I will always cherish his time in DC.

MLB Network is doing Baseball Seasons right now, and they just did the 2005.
Lidge vs Pujols just happened
He was a key part of the 08 title run with his perfect season. Thanks for the memories![]()
Was very very good in Houston.
Then he gave up that HR to Pujols in the playoffs.
Was inconsistent after that.
Was great again in 2008, actually perfect and helped the Phillies win the World Series.
Then in 2009 he lost his saves streak, was pretty much the beginning of the end.
Declined and declined.
Absolutely horrible last year.
Now retirement.
Very interesting career to say the least, thank you for 2008 Brad.

LETS GO FLYERS
Thanks for not blowing a save in '08, ***.
Sounds like some need to have their sarcasm detectors in for service.
Seriously, he had his moments and had a respectable career, but Pujols happened and that was that.
He had some great years.
