I would love to see a Peyton-Eli Super Bowl, that said as good as Peyton has been he can't hold a candle to his brothers ability in the clutch. Eli reminds me of a lot of Stabler, minus the beard, booze and broads.
The funny thing is I wasnt even angling for that match up.
Denver is the most balanced team in the AFC, and the Giants have proven they could rise to the occasion a couple of times now...Can you imagine the marketing junket for THAT game....We'd be sick of both of them a week before the game was even played.
I usually root for the AFC, but would love to see the NY Football Giants take apart Denver. Coughlin has grown on me, you can't help by respect a guy that isn't afraid to change after some success. Classy guy, great coach.
Patriots over 49ers is my unbiased prediction

^ I hate Tom Brady...there I said it...And Im glad I did.
He is a system QB playing in the best run Organization In football, who despite his acuracy and leadership, won three SBs on the leg of a kicker.
If venatri misses, no one is talking about this guy.
Accuracy and leadership are a pretty big deal for a QB. Brady is good...I'd have been pretty happy to have him for the last decade or so.
He's better than Kelly was.
Im prone to Hyperbole, he'll finish top 5 in yardage Im certain, but given the pats cheated their way to thier first titile...twice....I cant stand the GOAT talk he gets..
Meh, kids these days love to talk GOAT without any idea of what was going on 30-40 years ago. Everything these days is numbers. Does anything lie like a number? I can't talk baseball anymore because everything is WAR....what the hell is a WAR, and why is it no one can tell me how its generated in specifics?
dont know....I let my eyes tell me things...
A-Rod? kids a loser..IDC what anyone says, I dont care about career numbers. when it counts he fails, that all I need to know.
Brady? yeah hes done some great things, hes also had a parade of the best talent in the league helping him from day one, The team was playoff ready when he stepped in, so as far as Carrying a franchise, or stepping in and elevating them...IDK, he certainly MANAGED the game, but I wouldnt describe it as my friend did, as throwing the ball all over the field against us in 2001.
I agree completely about Arod...not so much about Brady. Seems to me he's always done great things with whatever he's had to work with. I think he's made guys great, more than the other way around.
He certainly had a hand in making Jermaine Wiggins look like Kellen Winslow one snowy night almost 11 years ago. And that, more than the Tuck, was the reason we lost that game. Well, that and the fact we couldn't buy a yard when we needed one.
His point was had Vinatari missed those FG's, Brady would have no SB wins.
Kelly took his team to 4 SB's and didn't win any.
When Brady is down more than a FG, he CHOKES. Did it twice against the same team.
Eli Manning! That's da man there!

"Just Win Baby!"
The AFC was bush league from 1988-1998, it wouldn't have mattered who the QB's were, the NFC was the better conference.
