Seriously, though, any all-time Oilers or Titans list that doesn't include Matthews, Brazille, Bethea, Childress or Houston is hardly an all-time list. I also think Hill and Givens certainly deserve consideration at receiver. Bingham and Norton were the two guys on the list I had never heard of.

I like the Culp and Jones selections. They were both guys I considered, but if I had two guys of similar value from different eras, I tried to put a heavier weight on guys I had personally seen. In terms of longevity and time with the franchise, Culp easily takes it, but at his absolute peak, Haynesworth was maybe the most dominant defensive linemen in all of football.

Another guy I really considered at WR was Haywood Jeffiries. When I very first started watching the Oilers when I was like seven or eight years old, he was one of my favorite players.

And looking over their careers, I think I'd probably have taken Al Smith over Bingham if I had looked at his numbers first. He was a little before my time, though, so I never got to see either of those guys play. That's one thing about this franchise, they've been extremely talented at some positions like O-line, D-line, RB, WR, S, etc. and so weak at others like MLB, QB, etc.
