Man Shogun's shots are not even phasing Gus. This guy's chin is crazy.

Man, gotta feel bad for Shogun.

Can't imagine what's going on in his mind right now. Knowing that he probably will never be a champion ever again.

Shogun is officially (probably) a gatekeeper now.

Rory McDonald needs to take some notes from Gus about respect and how to present yourself.

He doesn't move the way he used to, and he gasses late in fights. Gus was just a horrible match up for him.

    2 things.

    1. The mauler sure answer those questions about his chin.

    2. Shogun's chin and heart are hard to crack, what an amazing fighter.

It's a sad day watching the old school fighters hand over the reigns to the new guys. I still love it, but man it was fantastic when the likes of Fedor, Shogun, Wandy, Chuck, BJ, Hughes were in their prime.

That's cause is not that big, I think Rua is at 76 and Alex is at 76.5. The thing is Alex is so much taller that it seems way longer, but then again the way reach is measured has it's flaws...

The overall competition is much better these days however.

the new breed of fighters will continue on while old school die out. first off what a chin gus has on him and along with his skill set his size he can beat jones. shogun on the other hand looked the same as his last 3 fights, he doesnt kick anymore and the only reason i can come up with his knees are ****ed. he should take a few more easy fights and call it a career. he's a true warrior and obviously a ufc hall of famer.

    That's pretty cool man.

By the way, I'm seeing new faces here, you should all post on this forum more often, it's one of the best in all of PSD and a new point of view is always welcomed.

Speaking of new breed, isn't amazing how fighters like BJ, Shogun, Tito, Liddell, Hughes, Fedor etc have either faded or retire, but AS still is dominating?

That's one of the reasons I have him as the #1 fighter of all time. A fighter of his age shouldn't be dominating the way he has, he's just a treat to watch...

Big part is do to his style. Not a wrestler or brawler.
