It would be a good signing and an upgrade, but I don't think there is a need here. We have 2 catchers that are cheap and do a very good job. I think Fed-Ex is progressing fine. I think he is close and could be better than Ellis. Why block him and bench a good cheap starter? Unless Ellis is going to land a guy like Shields.

I'd rather they went after Napoli and make Federowicz the back up. AJ's value is high right now because he's coming off the best season of his career, but after a lot of years in the majors it's more likely that this year was a fluke for him, might as well get something for him then take a risk that he'll do what he did again next season.

No to A.J. P, the dude's slugging percentage jumped by .050 at the age of 36 a year after he hit a low in home-runs.

I wouldn't be surprised if he's a user, his year was just WAY too good for a guy who was dropping off in power and in a league where home-runs numbers were down.

This is how we do it! I still believe

No. We already have a cheaper and younger player with a much better arm.

I always got the impression that he was a cancer in the club house and one of the most hated players in the game. That's the impression I got when he was with the Giants.
