90% of the time, he might as well have been up there trying to hit with a rolled up newspaper, had no chance. And I got so tired of people talking about how good a defensive catcher he was/is, I just didn't see it happen.

This whole budget thing is a blessing in disguise, will keep the team from overspending stupidly. More than willing to deal with a mediocre season or two if it means not handing out the usual "what were you thinking" contracts..

Hal is definetly selling the Yankees...he's using the 189m luxury panelty to hide his true intentions...he already sold yes... Now all we're handing out are 1 year deals to buy time until the sale is complete...I dnt like Martin but that's a very reasonable contract that doesn't really hurt us...we could've always traded him after the season...
