    Lopez Injury

How serious is Lopez's Injury? they said he is only going to be out for 2 games but a lot of time they don't really how say how serious the injury really is. it's not good he missed a whole season with a foot injury and now he injured again... actually i'm not sure if it's the same foot. In any event it sucks. the nets are playing so well and meshing well. suprised they developed good chemistry so quickly and there only going to get better. this is definately a setback and i really hope the injury isn't serious. if anyone knows how serious the injury is please reply to this post.

It's not that big of a deal. He had a mild foot sprain on the top part of his foot, unrelated to the hairline fracture he had last season which was on the bottom of his foot. He's day-to-day, probably will play next week against OKC.

Good thing he was in foul trouble. It might be worse than they're leading on. I really hope not though. He should've been subbed right away.

Did you not happen to see that other thread about Lopez's ankle injury?

But weren't they saying that to keep Orlando interested? I don't see why they'd need to lie now.

Did they immediately take an X-Ray last time? I dunno about they took X-Rays and immediately said everything was negative and we aren't trying to trade him for Howard so I assume this is just precaution

Any new word about Brook for the Thunder game? I got the impression that he wasn't expected to play.

Bummer....I was really hoping he would be ready for the thunder. The Nets would have a distinct advantage at that position.

Players with injuries destroy franchises. Lopez is that type of player that's gonna hurt the nets during these games cause he is fragile

I knew the injury was more serious then they said. He was originallysuppose to play tonight against the thunder. This was would have been a big test to see where the nets stand against elite teams. I think this actually would have been a competitive game but without lopez the nets have very little chance.

i know they're saying his sprained foot is unrelated to the broken foot he had last year but is still the same foot? if so it's going to put stress on that injury regardless if it's unrelated.
