    The GREATEST announcer MLB has ever seen. As a kid watching my first game at Dodger Stadium in 1981 I can remember asking my dad why everyone had a small radio with them. " They are listening to the greatest" - Truer words have never been spoken.

    Happy Birthday to Vin. 1 of the best announcers in any sport of all time.
    Favourite Teams:

    Boston Red Sox: 22-16
    Indianapolis Colts: Decent draft, no new wide reciever though.
    Detroit Pistons: Looking forward to the draft and whoever the new coach will be
    Ottawa Senators: Onto Round 2 vs. Pittsburgh, Game 1 tomorrow night

    Scully is great. When he was going on road trips with the team outside of the west everything I've heard was that he was one of the friendliest, approachable and humble guys in baseball.
    I love his little anecdotes about players and his love for the game. I hope this isn't his final year in the booth.
