    Happy Birthday Vin !

I just wanted to wish Vinnie a very happy 85th birthday. For those of us who grew up in SoCal, we have been EXTREMELY blessed to have had the opportunity to listen to Chick do Laker games, Bob Miller do Kings games, Dick Enberg call UCLA/Rams/Angels, Drysdale call both Angel and Dodger games.....and they are all Hall of Fame broadcasters and great at what they do/did, but Vin will always be #1 in my heart.

He taught me the game of baseball by simply painting a picture on the radio for me at a very young age. Baseball has changed; huge contracts, PED's, the way they wear their uniforms...but Vinnie still sounds as good as ever and I just wanted to wish him the happiest of birthdays; thank you for teaching 4-5 generations of Dodger fans about this great game of baseball.

Can't wait to hear you in 2013 !!

Vin, NYC misses you. Channel 9 has never been the same.
